Impact

We remove CO2 from the atmosphere while enabling a secure energy transition.

We are committed to offer an alternative for industry decarbonization and enable energy transition in a scalable, replicable, profitable, and socially impactful manner.

This is a particularly important challenge for Murcia, Spain, where CO2 emissions have been increasing from 9.51 to 11.006 kt between 2010 and 2019.

In this region, companies most affected by the emissions trading scheme are: Combined-cycle power generation, Concrete, Roof tiles and bricks, or any other industry related to Combustion.

Impact

WHY DOES CARBONCAUSE SEE CCUS AS THE SOLUTION FOR DECARBONIZATION?

Supports economic growth

Integration with the local CCUS hub to generate new business opportunities for the region, increasing its growth and wealth

Promotes a shift toward circular economy

Reutilizing CO2 and finding new energy solutions (like synfuel), reducing costs at the same time

Drives the energy transition

Promoting a secure and just transition toward new sustainable alternatives

Reduces CO2 emissions

Improving air quality, living conditions and health of local populations

ENERGY SECURITY, IN A SUSTAINABLE AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER

Accent will be put on the green warranty of the whole operation, with efforts to minimize intrusion into the landscape and maintain great quality of life in the immediate vicinity of the hub.

This is why Carboncause teams work together with experts from different areas: they develop previous viability studies to demonstrate the technical feasibility and the complete security of the project development.
